So, just what is new and hot right now? Well, Paddington Bear celebrates 50 years of marmalade sandwiches, misadventures and general loveableness. The bear that found his way from darkest Peru to Paddington Station (see his statue next to the escalators) has had much excitement during his lifetime. There's a programme of events throughout the year to help Paddington party.
Through Michael Bond's books, children can join Paddington get to see some London sights just as the famous bear did. Watch the Changing of the Guard in Paddington at the Palace; explore the canal of Little Venice in Paddington at the Carnival and don't forget the marmalade sandwiches to sustain you at London Zoo in Paddington at the Zoo.
