Billingham Beck Valley Country Park

Stockton-on-Tees, Tees Valley

 

Billingham Beck Valley Country Park is approximately 150 acres of mixed wetland, surviving in the heart of industrial Teesside. With wetland meadows and ponds, it is both a haven for wildlife and for the visitors who use the site. There is a visitor centre and a main car park situated in the Ecology Park area, this area is popular with most visitors, in particular families and visiting educational groups. There is a large pond and picnic areas situated close to the car park and visitor centre.

The Main Entrance and Car Park are off the A1022, close to the Billingham exit off the A19.

By Bus – service 36 runs every 15 mins through the day between Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool and stops beside the petrol station on bypass road behind the visitor centre.

Always check with local bus company to make sure the service is still running.
