Monkey World has over 150 rescued primates from 15 different species. Primate refugees from across the world are rehabilitated into natural living groups that give children a real insight into the world of our closest relatives!

Chat with chimpanzees (there are 56 here, the largest number anywhere in Europe) or gossip with gibbons. Take a peek into the Nursery and then watch the orangutans play (there’s an adventure play area for human ‘monkeys’). Other primates here include monkeys and lemurs, all of which have been rescued. This is a fascinating place for youngsters with an interest in animal welfare.
